Crash Festival 2011


Following on from the success of last year's event, Abermule will again play host to one of the largest Mid-Wales open air music festivals. Crash Festival takes place in Abermule, mid-Wales on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August 2011.

Crash 2011 has undergone a complete facelift. 2011 sees the event being held over the complete weekend with camping on site and a new dance event on the opening night.

Line-up

Saturday will host a free band section, providing bands from all over Mid-Wales and the boards with an opportunity to play. There will be a brand new dance tent on the Friday night with all forms of Dance / Trance / DnB and Happy House being played into the early hours, headlined by Sonny Wharton.

Friday Night
The Main Stage: Sonny wharton, Full Stomp, Exomentz, Mr Bradbury, Tremors! Crew.
The Teller Stage: MK Zero, The Madoc Vanguard, The Taste, Left Till morning.

Saturday
The Main Stage: Smoke Like A fish, fight The Bear, Halflight, Dai robs & The Love, Nextstop Atlanta, The Hostages, One Man Down, Go.Fly.win, Cool Kids Write In Blue, The Misty Blue Trio, Sam Gomm.
The Teller Stage: String The Marionette, The Innocent, Kill It With Fire, Beast With A Million Eyes, Gritt, Loveless Luck, Rob Dunsford, Plastic Empire.

Tickets

A weekend adult ticket with camping is priced at £25, or £20 without camping. A child (aged 5-12 years) weekend ticket is priced at £5, and under 5s can attend free, but need a ticket. An adult Friday day ticket is priced at £10, and a Saturday day ticket is priced at £12.50. To buy tickets, click here.

At this not for profit festival,local business will be well represented with Monty's brewery showcasing the best of their beer and cider on tap – as well as a fully stocked Festival Bar and a wealth of foodie stalls and vans.

The other attractions include a paintball arena, bucking bronco, and kids area with bouncy castles and kids activity centre! Furthermore, the site will be made a lot more contained with more tents, stalls and marquees (In case the weather turns wet).br />

Camping

Camping is also a new feature this year with a family area as well as a 'Mini' young people's village.
