The Cockermouth Rock Festival or 'CockRock', returns in 2011 with the dates confirmed as Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th July at Wellington Farm, Cockermouth.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £50, tickets for children aged under 14 with camping are priced at £25. To buy tickets, click here.

The facilities include a quieter camping field aimed at families, as well as workshops. Expect also a professional BBQ on site, plus many stalls, food outlets, extra bars as well as many events for all the family. These include a Bouncy Castle, Rodeo Bull, Gladiator Duals and more.

Camping

Camping is usually free and held in the neighbouring field.

The Green

New for 2011 is an intimate Green area created by the folks at High Head Green Gathering from just up the road at Plumpton. The Green will be powered by renewable energy and will play host to a variety of new additions to the festival, with lots of live music and entertainment, lovely food stalls and cafe's, workshops, ethical market, healing area and some fun activities families and children. There will be a 'no generator' policy and alternative energy will be used wherever possible in this area. The green area team will also be promoting recycling throughout the festival weekend.

Charities

The festival is a non profit event set up to help raise money for two local causes, the Cockermouth Mountain Rescue and The Pride of Cumbria, as well as to encourage and promote local bands and musicians.
