Coalfields Festival 2014


Going for nearly eight years now, the family orientated, charity event, Coalfields Festival (previously M-Festival) takes place on Saturday 26th July 2014 at Darton Cricket Club, Longfields, Church Street, Darton.

Line-up

The festival offers local unsigned bands along with the more established acts.

Black Vines Alternative Stage: Black Rooster Blag Shag, King Bains, Terri Shaltiel, Frantic Alice, Lauren Tate, Danny Smart, Demographic, Del Scott Miller & Co..., Black Vines (DJ Set)

Noize Assault Stage: Spirytus, Lockin England, Boycott The Baptist, Redmist Destruction, Falling From Paradise, Fluffy Gremlins, Suborbital Lobotomy, The Fallout, Hamerex, Anaconda Vice.

Burndown The Disco Stage: Two Skies, Psyence, The Revolutionary Spirit, Weatherbird, Yellow Elevators, Revolving Doors, The Raoule Dukes, Heart Shakes, Euthemia.

Charity event

Proceeds from the festival go to raise money for Barnsley Hospice and Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
