Chiddfest 2015


Chiddingly's jazz blues rock and beer festival, Chiddfest, returns for a second year to take place From Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July on Nash Street, in the village of Chiddingly is in East Sussex, near to Hailsham, North of Eastbourne  in aid of St. Wilfreds Hospice.

Line-up

Latest additions are headliners The Blockheads, plus Dirty Thrills, Elles Bailey, and Clowwns.

The first acts confirmed were Brother Strut, Jacob Szulecki, Mel Hayes, Anna Phoebe, Deborah Bonham, Larry Miller, The Elevators, Kalakuta Millionaires, The Southern Blues Kings, Harry Court, Tank Trap, Oscillator, Lipstick and Beatniks, Rich Somers, Dirty Thrills, Elles Bailey, and Clowns, expect 27 bands playing over Friday Saturday and Sunday.

An early bird weekend (3 days) ticket with camping is priced at £50, and early bird junior weekend (3 days) ticket with camping for those aged 6 to 14 years is priced at £20. An early bird weekend family (2+2) ticket is priced at £120, and a weekend caravan/campervan pass is £15..

There will be a main stage, and acoustic stage, side stalls, food stalls, hog roast, face painting, ice creams, and posh loo's.

This years sees the additio of Little reds buskers booth will be running open mic sessions, singing, any acts are welcome plus writing workshops for adults and children plus storytelling and poetry.

Both children and dogs welcome, the event has weekend camping, a quiet family camping area, Kids corner play area, disabled facilities, and an official programme with whats on and act times. If it rains the venues are covered.
