Celtic Fusion 2003

There aren't many, if any, festivals in Ireland so this may be well worth a visit.

Northern Ireland Celtic Fusion claims to be the only festival of its kind in Ireland, aiming to showcase the hottest new talent on the international celtic music scene alongside some of the most famous names in the business.

The main part of festival takes place on Saturday 9th August in a natural amphitheatre in Castlewellan Forest Park and performers include La Bottine Souriante, Altan, Dougie Maclean, and Shooglenifty. There are a number of other fringe venues across the District with tickets at around £10, featuring artists such as Sharon Shannon, Michael McGoldrick and his band and Danu in concert.
