Castle Howard Summer Concerts 2015


Castle Howard Summer Concerts take placeonFriday 21st and Saturday 22nd August 2015 at Castle Howard, York North, in Yorkshire.

Castle Howard have announced that this year's Proms Spectacular concert will take its format back to its roots as part of its '25th anniversary celebrations'.

Line-up

Friday: Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Gilson Lavis, Marc Almond, Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Mabel Ray.

Saturday: Proms at Castle Howard will feature popular classics, film themes as well as flag waving favourites associated with 'The Last Night Of The Proms'. Jae Alexander will also be returning (himself celebrating his 15th Proms at Castle Howard) alongside some very special guests.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Ticket prices vary depending upon event.Friday tickets are priced at £38. No concessions. Under 4's free.

Saturday's tickets are priced at £32, or £16.50 for children aged 4 - 16 years. Under 4's free.

Doors open at 5pm for concert goers to enjoy a picnic if they bring one with them. There will also be a selection of hot and cold food and drinks available onsite as well as a fully licensed bar.

Free car parking is available on site please follow the concert directional signage.

Castle Howard is located 15 miles northeast of York, just off the A64; please follow the brown and white tourism signs/concert signage.

Concert starts at 7.30pm.

No animals or pets will be permitted into the concert arena except for assistant/service dogs.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
