Cambridge Folk Festival is one of the longest running and most prestigious folk festivals in the world.
Established by Cambridge City Council in 1964, the festival is renowned for its unique atmosphere and eclectic mix of music.
After a fallow year in 2025, the festival returned to Cherry Hinton Hall in 2026, and the next edition has been confirmed for Friday 31st July to Sunday 1st August 2027.

A wide variety of workshops are on offer for all ages including instrument making, willow sculpture, knitting, songwriting, drawing, storytelling, clog dancing, juggling, paddling, den building, tai-chi, and artist-led music making.
