Buxton Festival Fringe 2017


The Buxton Festival Fringe is an open access arts festival with a large music section. It runs from Wednesday 5th until Sunday 23rd July 2017 at numerous venues across Buxton, in Derbyshire.

Line-up

The musical acts announced so far are: City of Manchester Opera, Enkelit, Annette Gregory, Baked A La Ska & Lazo Baby, Partita, Herding Catz, Dale Storr, Margaret Ferguson, Sovereign Saxophone Octet, Eisenach Ensemble, Les Deux Amies, Dodo Street Band, Ellery Enterprises, Sue Morgan & Esperance, Cheshire Chamber Collective, Basin Street Jazz & Blues, Mart Rodger, High Peak Orchestra, Drowsy Sleepers, Dinara Klinton, Lizzie Ball & The James Pearson Trio, Richard Navarro, Richard Haslam, Voci, The Jay Rayner Quartet, Afirca Entsha, Manchester Recorder Orchestra and Buxton Studio Choir.

Ticket prices vary depending upon event, and are not yet on sale.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of campsites, hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

The Fringe runs in parallel to the Buxton Festival, which features a programme of opera and classical music.
