Bug Jam 2016


The 30th Bug Jam festival takes place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July 2015 at Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire. The festival started as a one day event in 1987.

Line-up

Friday: Club MTV with R3WIRE & Varski, Patrick Nazemi, The SkaSouls, Club MTV with R3WIRE & Varski, Patrick Nazemi, The SkaSouls, David Live, Prince Revelations, Absolutely Amy, and Bug Jam Is Now 30

Saturday: Scouting For Girls, Oas-is, Blurd, Toolroom, Carwash, Silent Disco.

The 80's is the theme for fancy dress.

An weekend ticket (per person in a VW) is priced at £60 in advance or £70 on the gate. A Weekend ticket (per person in a NON VW) is priced at £80 in advance or £90 on the gate. Weekend ticket prices include camping and parking. Children under 13 have free entrance (maximum 3 kids per adult)


As well as live music, there's stunt displays with Terry Grant, Human Powered Racing, Shockwave Nitro Funny Car, VW Drag Racing, RWYB track action, VW Autotraders, comedy shows, funfair, talent competition, Monster Trucks, radio controlled cars, Back to '89 nostalgia display, Low Riders, Guitar Hero competition, Show & Shine competitions on Saturday and Sunday, and more.

Get involved

As well as non-stop drag racing from the pros, there are numerous chances for festival goers to join in, with the 'Run What You Brung' sessions held over the weekend. Running on the strip throughout the show will be Fireforce, Santa Pod's own 280mph Jet Car, the Jet Beetle and the 7-second quarter mile turning 2 seat dragster, for the very brave to ride in.
