The first Brampton Live festival took place in 1995. Since then it has grown each year, and is now the biggest folk/roots music festival in the north of England.
Brampton Live takes place at the William Howard Centre, Brampton, Carlisle and offers festival goers three stages of live music, workshops, craft stalls, bars and food.
After the event was cancelled in 2010 it was announced there would be no event in 2011.
