Bakewell Acoustic Music Festival 2010


The Bakewell Acoustic Music Festival is a 3 day family friendly festival starting from lunchtime on Friday 13th through to the afternoon of Sunday 15th August featuring acoustic music from across the world.

Set on the showground in the market town of Bakewell in Derbyshire this music weekend will have 25 acoustic bands representing all genres of music from Folk, Latin, Country and Bluegrass right through to Acoustic Jazz, Rock and Blues.

Line-up

Friday 6pm to 11.30pm: Dizzy Club, Karima Francis, The Crooked Fiddle Band, Jose Vanders, John Riley, and Steve Turner.
Saturday 12pm 11.30pm: Los Pacaminos (Featuring Paul Young), Gypsyfire, Phantom Limb, Hot Feet, Sparrow and the Workshop, The Re-Entrants, Gary Potter, Ryan Lauder, and Please'Y'Self.
Sunday 12pm-6pm: Foy Vance, Goldheart Assembly, Idols Competition

Tickets

Adult weekend early bird tickets are priced at £35 (until May 31st). Day tickets (without camping) are priced as follows Friday £15, Saturday £25, Sunday £10 before May 31st. Children 13 years or under (accompanied by an adult) will be admitted free. To buy tickets, click here.

As well as music there will be local real ales and ciders and the chance to taste some of the local food produce from the North.

Camping

Camping or caravanning on site is free.
