What to do in the arena?

By Danielle Millea | Published:

The information below applies to the festival held at Leicester, before its 2012 move to Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, South Derbyshire.

Kidzone - The Big Kidz team make sure that children enjoy the festival as much as the adults with a whole section dedicated to games, craft making, and music making.

There is a session bar for festival goers to show off their musical skills. By bringing your own acoustic (no bagpipes etc) instruments you can jam during the sessions hosted over the weekend. There are safe and secure lockers to store your instruments in during the festival.

The beer tent has an open mic space, and holds impromptu lunchtime artists shows and a ceilidh.

The market area sells a range of things from musical instruments to crafts and hand made clothes.

No chairs, beach tents or furniture is allowed into the amphitheatre due to lack of space.
