Biarritz, a seaside town on southwestern France's Basque coast hosts the Big Festival. The 8th edition runs from Saturday 9th to Sunday 17th July 2016.
The four day festival takes place in and around a seaside town in Brittany, with the main stage in the ruins of an old French castle. A ferry ride across the Channel. The festival will play host to thirty fresh and largely undiscovered acts. The event lasts three days, attracts around twenty five thousand festival goers, and promises bands and musicians on three stages.
The Chemicals Brothers, The Prodigy, The Libertines, Pharrell Williams, The Kills, Claptone, Ellen Allien, Para One, Watermät, Jacques, Section Boyz, Elisa Do Brasil, Casseurs Flowters, Feu! Chatterton, Synapson, Worakls, Vitalic, Salut C'est Cool, Derrick May, Max Cooper, Club Cheval, Mykki Blanco, Darius, Vandal, Acid Arab, and Møme.
Day and combo ticket prices vary from 25 to 70 euros.
St. Malo is easily accessible by ferry from Portsmouth, Poole... on the south coast - with discounts available for UK festival goers.
