BIG CHILL INFORMATION

Stages

By Danielle Millea | Published:

The Castle Stage, The Big Chill Stage, The Sanctuary Stage, Media Mix Tent, Club Tent, The Village Green stage all host the best in DJs and live acts (expect Mr Scruff and Giles Peterson as festival regulars). Lost Vagueness have the church from Glastonbury with a small stage inside, more for cabaret and the usual madness like freak shows from the LV team. Several sponsored bars have DJs and soundsystems set up.

Apart from the huge array of music there is an avant garde art installations called the Art Trail, a poetry area in the woods, the body and soul massage and healing area, a chill out area, a lake with lighting installations, a kids tent and Big Chill Nights, a cabaret tent set up in 2007, that acts as a circus tent during the day for kids. There are also open air cinema screens, that start when the arena gate open on the Thursday.
