H2007: Beached 2007
Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th August 2007South Bay Beach, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England MAP
FREE
Beached is a FREE live music event held on South Bay beach in Scarborough. You don't even need a ticket, just come on down to the beach and enjoy the music in the sun (hopefully).
Confirmed acts for this year include Nine Black Alps, The Paddingtons, Alabama 3, InMe, Foals, Lethal Bizzle, Dartz, Frank Turner, The Dykeenies, Amy MacDonald and more - click here for the details to-date.
The festival is aiming to attract all ages and wants to retain a family vibe, although the organisers suggest that some of the acts later on may be less suitable for younger ears.
Please note that consumption of personal alcohol is prohibited on the festival site, as glass bottles and tin cans are not allowed on the beach for health and safety reasons. But there is a licensed bar, wide selection of food and beverage stalls on site, all serving drinks and food in plastic or paper containers at reasonable prices.
To ensure the future of the festival, the organisers do ask for a donation on the day, but it's not compulsory. If you want to donate, there are collection bins at the entrances to the festival site.
For more information please visit the official site.
