Planned to happen in 2014 Alt-Fest was an alternative music and lifestyle festival funded through crowdfund that was to take place at a 50,000 capacity site at Boughton House, in Kettering, Northamptonshire, presenting Goth, Metal and Industrial acts, plus the 'best-of-the-next' newcomers. The crowd-funded festival was to be sourced and created by the crowd itself with them also determining the form of the festival by voting on acts to appear on the bill.
