The Three Choirs Festival takes place from Saturday 6th until Saturday 13th August 2011 at various venues in the Cathedral city of Worcester.
This week-long festival celebrates the established favourites of the British choral tradition with a concert each evening in the Cathedral by our Festival Chorus, resident symphony orchestra and international soloists, combined with a daily supporting programme of chamber music, recitals, theatre, opera, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and fabulous social events in venues around the City and region.

The full programme has not yet been announced, works by Handel, Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Beethoven, Bruch, Mahler, Mozart, and Brahms. Guest conductors this year include Susanna Mälkki, and Sir Andrew Davis. Acts include The Three Cathedral Choirs, Florilegium, Piers Adams, The Academy of Ancient Music, The Sixteen, Melchior Ensemble, Jamie Walton, Alison Balsom, The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, Chapel Choir of Royal Holloway College accompanied by Sagbutts and Cornetts, The Eton Choral Course, The Festival Youth Choir, The Philharmonia Orchestra, and Paolo Oreni.Tickets
