Be aware that if you want to take a campervan, these frequently sell out before the regular tickets. I always used to think this was because the camper van fields were too small, but they're massive. It's just most old seasoned festival goers (like me) are too soft for tents.
  2. Running times?

Some running times have been released but you won't know the full schedule until you buy a programme. I know it's trivial but I much prefer Glastonbury's attitude where the programme is included .
  3. Fluffy Rock Cafe

I went looking for FR and was sad to see it wasn't there. Apparently they went to the Isle of Wight this year as the fees for Glastonbury were too high. I hope it went well for them but I also hope they'll be back in 2019.
  4. We got there nice and early, about 11:45 am on Tuesday and were put the the furthest corner of E17 which was a 25 minute walk to gate C. How did people get to camp near the gate?
  5. Worthy View, Tipis & CV Fields Sale

Probably because there's always someone who arrives a bit smelly on the Wednesday, doesn't wash at all for 5 more days, and reeks for a radius >10m

If you try to buy any it says On sale on Saturday, 01 Apr 2017 at 9:00 AM

He did!! And thanks to the very kind efforts of http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/profile/230809-michaels-denim-shorts/ I actually have two. We were both right on the button and our ticket numbers were only 8 apart. I'm in discussion about how to compensate him for his efforts. I've been very impressed by the community on here so I might hang around!

We're all coming out of the woodwork now!
  9. Worthy View, Tipis & CV Fields Sale

Yeah, Ashcombe farm was full on Thursday, and we are considering the others but find it hard to justify £350+ for a pitch.
  10. Worthy View, Tipis & CV Fields Sale

Yeah it can be done but the luxury of a campervan makes a significant difference to us. I guess we're just soft.
  11. Worthy View, Tipis & CV Fields Sale

Undecided. I'm 56 so camping in a tent is a bit of a struggle.
  12. Worthy View, Tipis & CV Fields Sale

Done. Thanks. If that works it will b the best £5 I've ever spent. Edit: Whoops also meant to thanks @Mandolin for recommending checkpage. Thanks
  13. Worthy View, Tipis & CV Fields Sale

Well I'm a little tiny bit sad at having to break my long run but my need for a campervan ticket has caused me to seek help from the forum. My main regret is that I forgot* to set an alarm for the sale and didn't realise until 12:30 by which time they'd all gone. I feel such an idiot. * I thought I had set an alarm on a calendar event on my phone but it didn't go off for some reason.

I still haven't managed to get a campervan ticket which is particularly gutting as I have festival tickets and a campervan. Are any more likely to go on sale? Edit: I have just made this, my first post, but I joined on May 16, 2008 Is this a record longest lurker?
