six tickets, and accommodation for Hammerfest 2009!

A deluxe chalet for you and up to 5 mates, plus five runners-up prizes - just answer the simple question below!

Hammerfest is a new festival for metal fans run by the people put on Hard Rock Hell and Metal Hammer. Hammerfest will take place on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April at Pontins Holiday Camp in Prestatyn, North Wales and will feature more than 50 metal bands taking the stage across six arenas.

This is your chance for you and up to five friends, who all need to be at least 16 years old to go to Hammerfest 2009, and stay in a deluxe chalet which will have two twin beds and a double camp bed.

There are also 5 pairs of weekend tickets as runner up prizes. These will entitle you to a weekend wrist band, however this prize does not include accommodation.

Acts confirmed include Saxon and Opeth headlining with Hammerfall, Skindred, Cathedral, Alestorm, Grand Magus, Sabbat, TYR, Exit Ten, Annotations Of An Autopsy, Trigger The Bloodshed, Dream Evil, and many more, with five further metal acts still to be added to the line-up. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Weekend tickets, for anyone 16+ years old, are available and include two night's accommodation in holiday apartments. Early bird tickets are available priced from £80 per head, based on a group of six people sharing a six-berth apartment. To buy tickets, click here.

The apartment structure at Prestatyn offers a limited number of apartments for 2's and 3's. The main bulk of apartments sleep 4, 5, 6 and 7. The more people in an apartment, the cheaper the price of the ticket.

Tickets include two nights’ accommodation and entrance to all 6 arenas as well as free car parking.

To enter, simply correctly answer the question below.

Rules:
  1. Only one entry per person.
  2. The competition is open to all UK residents, except employees of efestivals.co.uk and companies involved in the competition.
  3. Closing date for receipt of entries is 9a.m. Monday 23rd March 2009. The winner's names, and the results, will be announced on this webpage soon after. The winner will also be informed via email.
  4. All requested information must be completed. Your details are kept safe - please see the privacy policy for more information.
  5. All entrants for this competition must be at least 16 years old.
  6. Each competition entrant will (if not already) be subscribed to the Festivals Newsletter.
  7. The winning entries are selected at random from all correct entries.
  8. The judges decision is final.
