UPDATE: We got the full-fat Foo Fighters!

Today is a momentous day because we will finally find out who The Churnups are so all the speculation can be finally put to rest and we can all enjoy the show. The latest rumour we've heard is that The Churnups are indeed a Dave Grohl fronted band, but it's not the Foo Fighters - It's 'Grohl & Friends'. This is a rumour only for now, but it does leave us thinking that this makes a lot of sense considering the recent rumours we've heard. Dave Grohl has already been spotted backstage according to our sources.

The big question is, who will the 'Friends' be? Paul McCartney might be one, with both Stella and Mary McCartney sighted backstage. We might also see Josh Homme make an appearance, and could even be lucky enough to see John Paul Jones churn up for a Them Crooked Vultures song or two. There's also a chance of Bruce Springsteen joining. Geddy Lee and/or Alex Lifeson of Rush might also take the stage alongside Grohl as some of their touring gear was spotted backstage. Let's just say Dave Grohl is not short on extremely talented friends he could call upon to join him on stage.

The Foo Fighter have also just tweeted a view of the Glastonbury crowd...

An official announcement from Glastonbury Festival might come a bit later today, unless the organisers decide to leave the audience, and all of us at home, guessing until the very end. We think the latter seem more likely
