The first wave of acts have been revealed for Sounds from the Other City, which takes place in Salford on Saturday 2nd May 2020.
The names are led by a festival debut from the Super Furry Gruff Rhys, the return of Stealing Sheep, there's BEAK>, a Salford reunion of Jam Rostron aka Planningtorock, Self Esteem, Nuria Graham, Manchester noisemakers Organic Zip, Liverpool’s Strawberry Guy, Handle, and a DJ set from Twisted Nerve / Finders Keepers founder Andy Votel (DJ).
Others on the bill are Aoife Nessa Frances, BBC Philharmonic x Radio 3's Unclassified, ft Hatis Noit with Abel Selaocoe, Emanuel J Burton, Cowtown, Good Morning, Grotbags, Harpoon, Hilary & The Hate Crimes, Holodrum, Housewives, Humint, La Presidenta, Mali Hayes, Manchester Camerata performing Terry Riley's "In C", Snowy, Stephen Mallinder, Warren Schoenbright, and Wu-Lu.
