Camp Bestival have unveiled their annual theme for 2020 - 'go to the movies'. So the press release says: From epic blockbusters and film noirs, to the kings and queens of Bollywood and swashbuckling adventures on the high seas, festi-friends and families can expect to travel through time covering everything from the Golden Age of Hollywood right through to the latest Marvel and Manga madness.

Camp Bestival curator Rob da Bank, says: "I nearly fell off my Director's Chair when Josie floated this year's theme past me. The magic of the cinema, the escapism of glamorous Hollywood, the tension of sci-fi, the make-up, the music, the hair! We all love going to the movies and watching films with our kids, so why not do it live in a field in 2020?! We have some stunning installations for you and some once in a lifetime memory makers… Step right this way!"

New for 2020 and to introduce the world of movies to Lulworth Castle, Camp Bestival will be home to a brand new open-air cinema, AV shows featuring well-loved cult classics remixed by favourite DJs, sing-a-long movie nights, acting workshops, meet the screenwriter sessions, some very special movie-related guests and more… all to be revealed early next year. The music line-up will also be announced in the new year.

Over 50% of tickets have already been sold for Camp Bestival 2020. Order tickets by 10th December for a family Christmas treat and you'll receive limited-edition Camp Bestival 2020 iron-on patches for the kids, and a Camp Bestival Christmas card in time for the big day, plus an exclusive Josie da Bank illustrated line-up print early next year when the first 2020 acts are announced.

Camp Bestival takes place from Thursday 30th July until Sunday 2nd August 2020 at Lulworth Castle, Dorset.

NOTE: all tickets will incur a booking fee.

All teens (aged 11 to 17) MUST camp in the same area as their families with a maximum of 2 teens per adult (over the age of 30). These ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21.
