Sleeper, Brand New Heavies, The Orb, & more for Readipop 2019

The first acts have been announced for that other outdoor festival in Reading, Readipop Festival, which will be held at Christchurch Meadows, Caversham, in Reading from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July 2019.

The first 14 acts include headliners Sleeper (Sunday), Brand New Heavies (Friday), and The Orb with a 30th Anniversary Greatest Hits set (Saturday), plus Cassetteboy & DJ Rubbish, The Primitives, Jurassic 5's Soup Presents: The Fullee Love Collective, Musical Youth, Audio Bullys, JP Bimeni & The Black Belts, Mark Morriss from The Bluetones, Saltwater Sun, The Skangsters play The Specials, Jewels and the Jacuzzis, and The Keep Cats.

Readipop Festival director Gavin Lombos: "After last year's festival saw our audience grow and awareness of our work increase, we were keen to build on this momentum with an even stronger music line-up whilst keeping ticket prices low and making it accessible to all. We feel strongly that we've achieved that and our excitement for the performances coming to Caversham this July could not be higher!"
