Charity festival Beat The Streets has announced the first wave of artists for its 2019 edition, which takes place in various venues in Nottingham on Sunday 27th January 2019.

Acts include Nottingham metellers Evil Scarecrow, RamAlbumClub vs Stuart Pearce - punk fan former footballer Stuart Pearce in conversation with RamAlbumClub's Martin Fitzgerald, and more locals with rock-pop duo Brotherhood, folk-artist Keto, and Don't Forget Rupert. There's also 94 Gunships, Abii, Amulet, Ben Haynes, Buenos Treehouse, Bus Stop Madonnas, Caius Burns, Clonk!, Crosslight, Different Life Collective, Distant Blue, Emzae, Fat Digester, Hashtagobi, KOMINO, Lacey, Lois, Major Ruse, Nick Aslam, Pretty Babs, PRIMAL, Re Teu, Reflekter, Shiftwork, Sundaze, The Amber Herd, The Colliders, The DandyLions, The Fine Art Society, The Hip Priests, The Idolins, The Mocking Jays, The Outriders, Tilly Greentree, Towers, and Whisky Stain.

Beat The Streets is in aid of improving the lives of homeless people in Nottingham, which raised £100,000 for charity Framework last year. It's being delivered by promoters DHP Family in collaboration with local organisations and music groups including I’m Not from London; Farmyard Records; Hockley Hustle, and Rough Trade.
