It's back! After a year off, the ticket details for Glastonbury Festival 2019, happening at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th June, have been announced.
As an anti-touting measure, all ticket buyers need to be registered with a photo in order to buy a ticket (see below). The registration system is open until 12noon on Monday 1st October (when registration will close until after the main ticket sales). Online registration for 2019 can be carried out by clicking here. Do it now!
There will be two separate ticket sales. The first will be for combined entrance ticket plus coach travel, which will take place at 6pm on Thursday, 4th October 2018 (coach departure points and prices are below).
The second ticket sale will be for entrance tickets at 9am on Sunday 7th October 2018.
A maximum of 6 tickets will able to be booked in one transaction. All registered festival-goers who want to buy tickets, full-priced at £248 + £5 booking fee per ticket, will be able reserve them using the deposit scheme using a debit or credit card for £50 per-person.
The ticket balance will be payable (£198 + £5 booking fee) in the first week of April 2019 (from 09:00 Monday 1st April – 23:59 Sunday 7th April). Please note that there is no option to pay your ticket balance prior to that date. There will be a £20 admin fee on cancelled tickets.
Tickets will be on sale on both dates from glastonbury.seetickets.com.
Registration: to prevent touting Festival goers must register in advance for tickets which are non-transferable. Register here.
Each ticket features the photograph of the registered ticket holder with security checks carried out to ensure that only the person in the photograph is admitted to the Festival. Anyone who would like to go to the Festival must register, and that includes children aged 13, 14 and 15.
Any ticket deposits for which the balance has not been paid by 8th April 2019 will be automatically refunded to the card on which they were booked; with a £15 administration charge retained and all tickets for which the balance has not been paid will be cancelled.
You can check an existing registration by clicking here, and edit the details here. Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket when they go on sale, but if you don't register you will not be able to buy a ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2019.
