line-up announced for Radio 3 Charlie Gillett stage at WOMAD 2018

featuring Calan, Hanba!, Hashmat Sultana, House of Waters, Korrontzi, Ladama, & more

The line-up has been revealed for the Radio 3 Charlie Gillett stage at WOMAD - World of Music, Arts and Dance - held at Charlton Park, near Malmesbury, in Wiltshire from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th July 2018.

Previously announced for the festival, and now confirmed for the Radio 3 Charlie Gillett stage are:- Hashmat Sultana, House Of Waters, JM y Juanin & Los Crack del Puerto, LADAMA, Orchestre Les Mangelepa, Talisk, and Wazimbo.

New additions to WOMAD and the stage are:- Calan (pictured above), Hanba!, Korrontzi, Lian Music Band with Mohsen Sharifian, Renata Rosa, Ricardo Ribeiro, Seby Ntege, Tamala, Scorpios, and Vishten.

These join previously announced acts who include Amadou & Mariam, Leftfield performing 'Leftism' live, Mr Jukes, Camille, Django Django, Sharon Shannon, LA DAME BLANCHE, Ken Boothe, Thievery Corporation, Gilles Peterson, Omar Souleyman, Jazzanova Live featuring Paul Randolph, Aeham Ahmad, Afro Cluster, Dobet Gnahore, Kojey Radical, Electric Fields, Ezra Collective, and many more, with more still to be announced. For all of the details so far please see the line-up page.
