Deer Shed Festival 2018, which takes place at Baldersby Park near Topcliffe, North Yorkshire from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd July has announced it will offer heavily reduced tickets to those who had tickets for the cancelled Beverley Folk Festival.

Tickets will be reduced to £50 for ticket holders of Beverley Folk, from a current price of £145, a discount of over 60%.

A spokesperson for Deer Shed Festival made this statement on the offer:

“We were saddened to hear of the cancellation of such a longstanding Yorkshire festival. Last year was a rough year for festivals countrywide, as many of us put on events that our audiences and artists loved, but the stories that stick in peoples’ minds are from the minority that don’t quite go to plan for one reason or another.

“With this offer, we’re trying to do our bit to let everyone know British festivals are not in crisis, as headlines might suggest. If you had plans to spend the weekend at Beverley Folk Festival, come to Deer Shed instead and experience just how magical a British summer festival can be.

To claim the discount, forward your proof of purchase to [email protected] and they will reply with a discount code.

Folk-influenced acts at Deer Shed include: This Is The Kit, Scott Matthews, Rozi Plain, Pictish Trail, Siv Jakobsen, Bryde, The Lost Brothers, Seamus Fogarty, Night Flight, Holy Moly & The Crackers, Morrissey & Marshall, Riley Pearce, Bella Gaffney & Polly Bolton and more.
