Talking Shop line-up revealed for Green Man Festival

The Talking Shop line-up has been revealed for The Green Man Festival, a four day event taking place at Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Wales, from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th August 2018.

The discussion stage will be headlined by Annie Nightingale, the longest serving presenter on BBC Radio 1, Talking Shop's curator Laura Barton talking to headliners King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and the Literary Death Match, with four authors reading a passage of their writing for 7 minutes or less before a panel of judges.

Also involved in talks on Talking Shop will be:- Mojo Interview with John Grant, Peggy Seeger, VIV Albertine, Rob Young, Owen Sheers, Ross Sutherland, Three Track Podcast, Horatio Clare, The Glass Aisle, Pete Brown, and the festival's Pop Quiz with Pete Pahides and Bob Stanley.

Previously announced for the festival were music headliners Fleet Foxes, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and The War on Drugs, as well as Anna Calvi, Cate Le Bon, John Grant, Grizzly Bear, The Black Angels, Dirty Projectors, Public Service Broadcasting, Floating Points, John Maus, Simian Mobile Disco, Deep Throat Choir, Mount Kimbie, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Lemon Twigs, Kevin Morby, John Talabot, Baxter Dury, Curtis Harding, Alex Cameron, Teleman, Phoebe Bridgers, Courtney Marie Andrews, Jane Weaver, BEAK>, Goat Girl, Bo Ningen, Xylouris White, Marlon Williams, Shannon Lay, Omni, DUDS, Charles Watson, Boy Azooga, Ider, Snail Mail, Jade Bird, Seamus Fogarty, Juanita Stein, Haley Heynderickx, Jim Ghedi, Sorry, Stella Donnelly, Haze, Wye Oak, Susanne Sundfor, Kelly Lee Owens, and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.

The festival will also feature art installations, literature and film tents, poetry, ceilidhs, theatre, science, comedy, a bonfire, and extensive under 18s entertainment called "Future Generations", spread across six activity areas.
