The first acts have been revealed for the annual autumn indoor world music event Musicport Festival takes place with around 50 acts on 5 stages at Whitby Pavilion, North Yorkshire, from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st October 2018.

From around the world and the UK the confirmed acts are Vieux Farka Toure (Mali), Natty (UK), Mokoomba (Zimbabwe), Dobet Gnahore (Ivory Coast), Destyn Maloya Band (Reunion), Erna Chimu (Namibia), Kolonien (Sweden), Leveret (UK), The Whiskey Priests, O'Hooley & Tidow, Andreas Tophoj & Rune Barslund (Denmark), Ye Vagabonds (Ireland), Blackbeard's Tea Party, The Angel Brothers, Edwina Hayes, Rikki & Dalila Thomas-Martinez (Spain/UK), Kitty & Jack (USA), and Paddy Garrigan & The Stroller Priests.
