Kendrick Lamar has been revealed as the first act for the Glasgow Summer Sessions, with him performing at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow on Wednesday 29th August 2018, with more announcements expected in the coming weeks.
Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts said: “We are really excited to announce Kendrick Lamar as the first Glasgow Summer Sessions headliner for 2018. Following in the footsteps of Eminem, Biffy Clyro, and Calvin Harris, to name a few acts who have previously played Glasgow Summer Sessions, Kendrick is well and truly at the top of his game after an outstanding show at The SSE Hydro at the weekend and we can’t wait to welcome him back to the city in August. Glasgow will be buzzing this summer with TRNSMT and now Glasgow Summer Sessions taking centre stage, truly placing the city as a hub for the biggest artists in the world right now.”
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 16th February, priced at £59.50.
