Portugal's NOS Alive 2017 adds Phoenix

joining The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Depeche Mode & more

Phoenix are the latest act announced for NOS Alive Festival, formerly Optimus Alive!, taking place in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th of July 2016

The join the line-up appearing on the main stage on Thursday 6th July, alongside headliner The Weeknd, The XX, and Alt-J.

The line-up has the Foo Fighters topping the bill on Friday, Depeche Mode on Saturday, and also includes Imagine Dragons, Ryan Adams, Warpaint, The Kills, Kodaline, Wild Beasts and Parov Stelar, with many more still to be announced.

A 3 day ticket with camping (from Seetickets) is priced from £129.94 or £114.81 without camping. A day ticket is priced at £52.51. Prices do not include booking fees. Other options are also available.

Now entering its 11th year, the 50,000 capacity festival is very much a 'beach by day, music by night' destination festival - the festival opens at 6pm and goes on until 6am and fans can either book from the huge array of affordable local accommodation, or camp in the festival campsite.

With the Tagus River as landscape to explore the festival has arts, cafes, restaurants, as well as music on offer.
