A number of acts including the headliners have been announced for the Gate to Southwell Festival which takes place from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th June 2017 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

Confirmed to headline the Friday are veterans Lindisfarne, while on Saturday its Southwell regulars The Young'Uns, and on Sunday it's Ireland's Cara Dillon performing with special guests. Thursday night's entertainment comes in the form of a bluesy night, with Nine Below Zero, 77 year-old Lil' Jimmy Reed Band (not the band, obviously), and blues slide guitarist Johnny Dickinson.

Also confirmed are Danish 9-piece Habadekuk, singer-songwriter guitarist John Smith, Canadian fiddlers The Fitzgeralds, 2017 BBC Folk Singer of the Year Kris Drever, Scotland's Blue Rose Code, the jazz-meets-klezmer-meets-folk of The Boxcar Boys, Southwell regulars Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, 2017 BBC Group of the Year The Furrow Collective, Birmingham's The Destroyers, plus Rory McLeod, Mongoose, Vikki Clayton, The Shackleton Trio, The Rogue Embers, and Harbottle & Jonas. For all the line-up details so far including day spits (where available)  please see the line-up page

Early bird tickets are currently available, priced at £105 for Thursday-Sunday and £90 for Friday-Sunday, with camping an additional £20.
