As the sun goes back to bed for another year and festivals move inside, world music festival Musicport has fleshed out more of its line-up. The latest added name is Dexy's founding member Pete Williams with his band, who'll appear on the North Sea Stage on the Saturday.

He joins a line-up which includes headliners Rafiki Jazz, Afro Celt Sound System, and Benjamin Zephaniah & The Revolutionary Minds, plus others including Kefaya, Tcha Limberger Trio, 'Orchestra Of Samples' with Addictive TV, Maia Barouh, Omar Puente's Cuban Sextet, Maya Youssef Trio, Andy Kershaw, Hope & Social, Rory McLeod & Familiar Strangers, Himmerland, Fistful Of Spookies, Jamie Smith's Mabon, O'Hooley & Tidow, Ribbon Road, Grace Petrie, Joanne Harris & the Storytime band, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican, and more. The 18th Musicport takes place - indoors, with 'indoor camping' as an option - from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd October 2017, at Whitby Pavilion, North Yorkshire across 6 stages.
