Badly Drawn Boy is the latest act announced for Yorfest, which returns for a third year to offer two stages of music, a vintage fair, street food and micro ale festival on one big day out at York Racecourse, Knavesmire, York on Saturday 23rd September 2017. He'll be joining the previously announced headline act The Shires.

Speaking about the latest announcement, Bryan Stubbs, the event's festival programmer, said: "We are once again thrilled to be adding such a talent as Badly Drawn Boy to our expanding 2017 line up, along with some of the other national touring acts we are due to announce in the coming days, a fantastic bill of local talent is being assembled too. We’re really looking forward to the full line up going public shortly, with nearly 30 acts across 3 stages at the event on the day."

Festival goers can also expect food and drink for sale on site, along with traditional festival fare, local real ales, a Champagne and Pimms bar, candy floss, donuts, and more, as well as a kids play zone, face painting, and vintage fairground rides.
