RivFest returns from midday to midnight on Saturday 2nd September 2017 to Priestley College in Warrington. The festival was created last year in support of River Reeves, after him and his band Viola Beach sadly died in a car accident in Sweden.

The festival has announced the line-up, which includes Maximo Park, Billy Bragg, Eliza and The Bear, Spring King, The Rainband, the RPMs, SlyDigs, Stilia, and many more.

Coldplay gave a tribute to Viola Beach at Glastonbury 2016, and have been advocates of the foundation and festival since. They have issued the following statement urging people to attend:

"If you live anywhere near Warrington, please buy a ticket for Rivfest17 on Saturday 2nd September.  It’s a fantastic line up, a top day out and a wonderful cause - raising money to realise the dreams of upcoming local talent, all in memory of the great River Reeves."

For a complete list of announced acts please see the line-up page.
