Devilment, Battle Beast, & more added to Bloodstock 2017

More acts have been announced for Bloodstock Open Air festival which will take place from Thursday 10th until Sunday 13th August at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire.

New for the Ronnie James Dio Main Stage on the Friday are Devilment, while the first act announced for the Thursday are Battle Beast who'll headline the Sophie Stage that day.

There's also eight new bands where some have come though the ‘Metal 2 The Masses’ finals, and who will perform on the New Blood Stage. On Friday there's Coventry winners Devil's Playground, Swindon winners Merithian, and Brighton's Enslavement, while on Saturday there's Sheffield champions Ba'al, and Dublin’s top dogs Zhora. On Sunday there's there's Mist from Slovenia, along with Heathen Deity, and Shrouded.

These join a line-up which already includes Amon Amarth (Friday headliner), Ghost (Saturday headliner), Megadeth (Sunday headliner), plus Kreator, Skindred, Annihilator, Municipal Waste, Blind Guardian, Testament, Hatebreed, Obituary, Decapitated, Brujeria, Whitechapel, Possessed, Hell, and many more. For the line-up details as available see the Bloodstock line-up page.

Tickets are on sale priced at £139 for adults with camping (+ booking fees), and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35. Campervan pitches are sold out. VIP options are also available.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.
