Julian Marley has been announced as Sunday headliner for Africa Oye Festival which returns Liverpool's Sefton Park on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th June 2017, and features artists from across Africa, plus from South America and The Caribbean, as a two day family-friendly celebration of cultural diversity, and for FREE!

Also confirmed so far as appearing across the two days of the festival are Senegal's Diabel Cissokho, returnees HAJAmadagascar & The Groovy People, plus Mokoomba, Jupiter & Okwess International, and Odemba.

Paul Duhaney, Oye’s artistic director, said: "We had the pleasure of bringing Julian Marley to Liverpool as part of his UK tour recently and I knew when I saw him perform that he would be a dream act for Africa Oye. Diabel and HAJA are two amazing live performers that have become real friends of Oye over the years and I’m delighted to welcome them back for our 25th Anniversary as well."

Times for both days are 12.30pm until 9.30pm. Admission is FREE!
