Brighton duo Royal Blood are the latest act announced for the annual Eden Sessions held in the surroundings of the Eden Project in Cornwall. Their show will be on Thursday 22nd June.
Rita Broe, Eden’s marketing director, said: “We know that a lot of our audience are big rock fans so we’re very pleased to be bringing perhaps the most exciting young rock band in the world to the Eden Sessions this summer. Royal Blood are incredible musicians and proper rock ‘n’ rollers who are sure to hit us with their signature wall of sound this summer. This is a great coup for the Eden Sessions and we’re very proud to be the venue for their first UK show to be announced this year.”
Other sessions this year are from Madness on Friday 16th June, and Bryan Adams on Thursday 6th July 2017. Both shows are sold out.
Tickets for Royal Blood at the Eden Sessions cost £40 plus £5 booking fee and are on sale from 5.30pm on Thursday 9th February.
The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event. The event will have three stages featuring some of the best up-and-coming acts playing from early afternoon on each day as well as the headliners.
There is no camping allowed on site, and animals are not permitted.
