Eliza and The Bear, Hunter and The Bear, and ONR have joined the line-up for the 12th Loopallu Festival .

The small intimate festival takes place from Friday 30th September to Sunday 1st October 2016 at Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland.

The first headliner is Feeder, who will be making their only Scottish festival appearance this year. Also confirmed are The Wonder Stuff, The Selecter, Lucy Spraggan, Manran, and Mark Radcliffe Galleon Blast.

As well as the usual eclectic line up of acts appearing at the festival big top and the fringe events after hours in the villages pubs, the festival will be welcoming the return of the Literally Literary tent in association with Ullapool Book Festival.

Confirmed for the Literally Literary tent are Grace Maxwell and Edwyn Collins who will talk about Grace's book 'Falling and Laughing: The Restoration of Edwyn Collins'.

They said "We're always happy to have an excuse to come over to Ullapool and Loopallu is the best excuse of all. See you in the literary tent, doing our Darby and Joan routine."

Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival also offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.

Due to demand, organisers have now added Eden Court in Inverness as an outlet to purchase tickets in person, in addition to The Arch Inn (Ullapool).
