Following the 10th anniversary event earlier this month ( Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June 2016), Field Day are auctioning off an original set of one-of-a-kind canvases, hand painted by acts backstage at this year’s event to raise money for housing charity Shelter.

Online charity auction site eSolidar have partnered with Field Day to host the auction which will run until Friday 8th July.

Music lovers and fans of the festival will be able to bid on works of art by the likes of Deerhunter, Roots Manuva and Laigon Boyz (Boy Better Know), who all painted canvases backstage at this year’s event.

Signed limited edition tea towels by James Blake, Goat, The Avalanches, Fat White Family, Moon Duo, Beach House, and Mbongwana Star are also up for grabs.

All proceeds will go to Shelter, Field Day’s charity of choice, which helps millions of people every year struggling with homelessness through professional, advice, support and legal services. The money raised from the auction will go towards Shelter’s Fix Renting campaign, which seeks to make London’s rented homes safer and more secure for all.

For more information, see the (auction page here).

Field Day returns next year for the 11th edition as a two day summer event bringing together many of London's alternative concert and club promoters (Eat Your Own Ears, Bugged Out!, Bleed, Lanzarote) to produce a day of music, dancing and maximum hoopla set in London's heartland at Victoria Park on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June 2017. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2017.
