Bill Ryder Jones and The Anchoress to join Manic Street Preachers at Eden Sessions

Bill Ryder Jones, and The Anchoress have been announced as support to the Manic Street Preachers at Eden Sessions date on the night of Saturday 9th July at the 15th annual Sessions held in the surroundings of the Eden Project in Cornwall.

Manic Street Preachers will be playing material from their 12-album back catalogue which includes tracks such as A Design for Life, Motorcycle Emptiness, Your Love Alone Is Not Enough and If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next among others.

Eden's summer of music kicks off with Duran Duran live at Eden with BBC Music Day (June 3). This is followed by the Eden Sessions - Lionel Richie with Corinne Bailey Rae (June 14 and 15 – both sold out), Tom Jones (June 26 – sold out), PJ Harvey (June 27), Manic Street Preachers (July 9) and Jess Glynne (July 14 – sold out).

Tickets for the Manic Street Preachers Eden Session are priced at £40 plus £5 booking fee, tickets are also available for the Jess Glynne and P J Harvey nights.

A Sessions ticket entitles the ticket holder to visit the Eden Project either on the day of the concert or the day after. All proceeds from the events will go to the Eden Trust. The full dates of Sessions have not yet been announced.

The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event. The event will have three stages featuring some of the best up-and-coming acts playing from early afternoon on each day as well as the headliners. 

There is no camping allowed on site, and animals are not permitted.
