Prince has died at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota at the age of 57.
Prince became a global star in the 1980s, with albums such as 1999, Purple Rain and Sign O' the Times.
He sold more than 100 million records during his career, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time.
Last week he was rushed to hospital hours after performing on stage, and was forced to cancel several concerts due to ill health.
