Soul II Soul feat. Caron Wheeler, and Snowboy are the latest acts to be announced for Margate Soul Weekend held from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th August 2016 at venues and open spaces in the Oldtown quarter of Margate, in Kent.

Margate will play host to 50 DJs, live acts, street parties, a new outdoor stage, and a whole heap more fun across 4 stages with Sister Sledge, feat Kathy Sledge, Ce Ce Peniston, Jean Carn, Shirley Jones of The Jones Girls, plus Jean Carn, Ronnie Herel, Bigger, Gordon Mac, Bob Masters, Patrick Forge, Calvin Francis, Stretch Taylor, Mike Vitti, Zero Radio Crew, Pete Collins, Tony Matthews, Fitzroy, CJ Carlos, Rhythm Doc, Jonny Layton, Grumpy, Gavin Page, Gino, Darren Stephenson & Geoff Allman, Bill & Grant, Neil Hanratty, Andy Davies, Andy Jackson, Micky B, Chris Alexander, South Of The River Crew, Terry Matthews, Roni O'Brien, Paul French, Jah B, Robbie Styles, Frostie & Tony Fernandez, Jasper Muppet, Euan Bass, Penny K, Tom Glide, Mark Messent, Matt Bigg, Ian Holmes, Paul Clark, Derrick Patterson, and more to be announced.

Organisers said, "Margate Soul Festival is the Kent’s signature soul music festival held in and around the picturesque Margate Harbour with a huge outdoor arena overlooking the sea at the rear of the iconic Turner Contemporary Gallery. Celebrating it’s 10th anniversary this year it will offer a unique combination of ticketed large-scale outdoor live shows, free family friendly street performances, DJ led carnival street parties and the most eclectic mix of club night life starting at 8pm. The event is spread across multiple venues, situated around the Harbour including 7 venues catering for a selection of musical tastes each with their own special atmosphere to create arguably the best soul inspired festival in the country. Glamping has also been arranged at Hartsdown Academy and a free shuttle bus service will be running from Ramsgate & Minster To Margate."

A complete all events wristband is priced at £60 and allows access to all indoor entertainment, a daily MSW wristband is is priced at £40 for Saturday, and £35 for Sunday, with some entertainment free.
