first acts confirmed for the Landed Festival

The first acts confirmed for the Landed Festival, back for it's sixth year running from Friday 29th April until Sunday 1st May 2016. This small, independent festival offers a relaxed, family-friendly three days of music, installation art, independent films, puppetry and even a ‘Pimp my Duck’ duck race.

Held in the grounds of Doldowlod Estate near Rhayader, Powys, Mid Wales, the first acts confirmed are The Undercover Hippy, Regime, Fjokra, Barbarella's Bang Bang, Mama Jerk & The Lady Fingers, Johnny Kowalski & The Sexy Weirdos, The Society of Strange Living, The Vegetable Collective, The Chalk Outlines, The Filthy Spectacula, One Eyed God, KilnAboy, Upbeat Sneakers, Monsterometer, Billy in the Lowground, The Sweetchunks Band, Hedge Gods, Folklaw, The Fireside Family, The Lonesome Stampede, Isaac Grinsdale, Abi Foster, Emi McDade, Vinna Bee, and Elea Calvet. Expect acts across five stages. A new bigger main / bar stage combo (so the music never stops), a spoken word stage, and new this year a busking stage, and a new dance area called The Spinney.

An early bird adult weekend ticket is priced at £35 a teenager weekend ticket is priced at £25 (13-17 inclusive), children aged 12 years & under FREE (under 16's must be supervised). Day tickets also available. A car park pass is £5, and campers / caravans pass is £10.

As well as music there will be a Kids Area, Craft Village, Healing & Therapy, Bars, Good Food & Traders, and a huge array of craft demonstrations, workshops, open mic and much much more.

The beautiful location also provides the ideal surroundings for camping, and a range of camping facilities are available in the new camping area and live-in vehicle field.

Beltane, or Calan Mai (Welsh) is going to feature in the theme of the festival, it's all about bonfires, drinking, music, and spring celebrations.
