Motorhead axeman Phil Campbell and his all star band will be getting the Bloodstock Open Air welcome party night started, and will also officially open the newly christened ‘Lemmy’s Bar’ with the first drink at 5pm.

The King Is Blind, and Witchsorrow have also been added to the line-up over the weekend from Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th August 2016 again at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire.

They join headliners Slayer, Twisted Sister, and Mastodon, plus Fear Factory, Gojira, Symphony X, Rotting Christ, Paradise Lost, Dragonforce, Behemoth, Venom, Metal Allegiance, Stuck Mojo, Goatwhore, and Acid Reign.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock will offer a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £139 for adults with camping (+ booking fees), and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35. Campervan pitches were priced at £55 and have sold out, and VIP options are available too. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date.
