Tom Jones has been added to the line-up for this year's 23rd annual Hampton Court Palace Festival which offers an audience of 3000 the chance to see performances in Henry VIII’s open-air courtyard.
Tom Jones said, "I’m so excited to be playing at King Henry VIII’s palace. It’s such an historic and beautiful setting. I look forward to seeing everyone for a great night out."
The line-up is as follows:
Thursday 9 June - Anastacia with special guests.
Friday 10 June - Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra with special guests, Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.
Saturday 11 June - The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra present Fanfare & Fireworks.
Tuesday 14 June - Van Morrison.
Wednesday 15 June - Tom Jones.
Friday 17 June - Caro Emerald.
Saturday 18 June - George Benson.
Performances are held in the historic main courtyard of the Tudor Palace for an audience of 3,000 tend to begin either at 7pm or at 9pm. The events culminate in a Festival Finale with a programme of classical favourites and a firework display on the East Front Gardens.
