Friday headliners Fairport Convention lead the first names announced for Derby Folk Festival 2016 which takes place at Assembly Rooms, Derby, in Derbyshire next year from Friday 30th September to Sunday 2nd October 2016.
Also confirmed for the 10th year of the festival are The Young'Uns, The Demon Barber Roadshow, Belshazzars Feast, John McCusker, 9 Bach, Heidi Talbot, and Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker.
Tickets are priced at £80 for the weekend.
The festival also offers free camping, stalls, cheap beers, real ales, hot food, and proper toilets., The folk event not only fills the Assembly Rooms, but also hosts events in the Guildhall Theatre, Market Place and the city streets of Derby.
