Headliner Ellie Goulding is the first act announced for the 10th Posivitus Festival which takes place in Salacgriva, Northern Latvia from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th July 2016.
The 40,000 capacity Posivitus is the largest music festival in Baltics and the three day festival offers festival goers a varied programme of international bands, and up coming European acts. The festival also offers other activities besides the main stages - theatre, cinema, plenty of food and drink vendors, and circus.
Early bird tickets are priced at 65 euros without camping, and a three-day with camping ticket is priced 73 euros. From 3rd December, a three-day ticket costs 79 euros, a three-day camping site ticket costs 87 euros.
The festival aims to appeal to all European festival goers and offers camping and is only 100 km from Riga by via the Baltica highway E67 and approximately 15km from Estonian border, and 70km from Estonia's liveliest summer resort town Parnu. Riga is also the nearest airport.
