reign in Bloodstock 2016 - Slayer to headline Sunday night

Slayer will be the Sunday night headlining act at next year's Bloodstock Open Air topping a bill that day that also includes Anthrax, and Satyricon.

Guitarist Kerry King said of them closing out the festival, "I'm looking forward to heading back to Bloodstock, as always! Come party with Slayer and watch us wreck the place!!"

They will be joined over the weekend from Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th August 2016 again at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshireon Saturday by the other two confirmed headliners Twisted Sister, and Mastodon, plus Gojira, Rotting Christ, Paradise Lost, Dragonforce, Behemoth, and Venom.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock will offer a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Early bird tickets are priced at £120 for adults with camping (+ booking fees), and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35. Campervan pitches are also already on sale priced at £55, parking is £16, day tickets and VIP options are expected to be on sale at a later date.
