The Stone Roses for Etihad Stadium and T in the Park

The Stone Roses have announced Manchester dates at Etihad Stadium on Friday 17th, and Saturday 18th June 2016 and T in the Park on the Friday of the festival, four years after their last appearance.

The Stone Roses got the internet talking all day today after posters showing their iconic lemon appeared around Manchester, now they've confirmed three appearances, with tickets going on sale at 9.30am on Friday 6th November, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Fronted by Ian Brown, with John Squire, Reni, and Mani, The Stone Roses made a triumphant comeback in 2012 and 2013, having announced in 2011 that they were reforming after an acrimonious split 15 years earlier. The reunion was one which many thought would never happen after the Madhester scene pioneers break up.

They returned for three shows at Heaton Park and a world tour, with festival appearances including Isle of Wight Festival, T in the Park, V Festival, Finsbury Park, Coachella, Tennent's Vital, Pukkelpop, Sziget Festival, Fuji Rock Festival, Optimus Alive!, Balaton Sound, Festival Internacional de Benicassim, Pheonix Park, Hurricane, Southside Festival, and NorthSide.
